ÖMTV member companies handle furniture transports or forwarding transactions exclusively in accordance with the “General Austrian Forwarding Conditions” and the “Conditions of Carriage for Furniture Transport” (BBMT).
The BBMT regulates the rights and obligations between customer and furniture transporter/forwarder. They apply to the transport of removal goods in a furniture truck (furniture trailer, swap body, container, liftvan) at home and abroad. The provider undertakes to carry out the transport professionally, using trained staff and suitable materials and transport vehicles.
